The first medical equipment within the campaign initiated by Rotary e-Club Moldova International “For them, those who take care of us” arrived in Cahul. Thus, the District Emergency Hospital from Cahul received protective equipment such as gloves, gowns, visors, infrared thermometers and pulxiometers in a total value of 160.000 MDL.
The donation was delivered by the representatives of the Rotary clubs involved in the campaign: Alexandru Robu and Serghei Bucico (E-Club Moldova International), Vasile Popov together with a delegation of the Rotary Club Cahul, Constantin Copăceanu (Rotaract Club Chisinau).
Cahul Emergency Hospital Director Oleg Creciun: “We thank the Rotary clubs for their support at a very important time. The donation came exactly when there was a great need for medical equipment because the one in the hospital’s reserves was running out. “
The hospital from Cahul was the first of the 7 hospitals that will receive medical equipment on behalf of Rotary E-Club Moldova International. The donation was possible with the help of Rotary clubs from Moldova and Romania, who managed to collect the necessary amount, also to the support of the Rotary International Foundation and District 2241 Romania and the Republic of Moldova, which tripled the funds collected.
